A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a tax-free savings account used to pay for qualified medical expenses.Participation in plan is available on first day of month after date of hire, unless hired on the first day of the month, then coverage is effective on date of hire.

Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer matching contribution!

  • Your HSA savings can be used for eligible expenses for any member of your tax family. They do not have to be enrolled in the medical plan.
  • Must be covered by a high deductible health plan (HDHP).
  • Cannot be enrolled in Medicare or Tri Care.
  • Insurance Provider: Cigna

VISION INSURANCE

FLEXIBLE SPENDING (FSA) HSA/DEPENDENT CARE (DCAP)

  • The Flexible Spending Account will be administered by HR PRO.
  • Out-of-pocket medical expenses can be covered using this plan.
  • Covered expenses can include: unreimbursed deductible amounts, medical co-insurance, prescription drug copayments, dental expenses and vision services.

CANCER ADVANTAGE PLAN (VOLUNTARY)

  • Benefit is paid when you are diagnosed with internal cancer for the first time while insured under this plan.

ESOP (EMPLOYEE STOCK OWNERSHIP PLAN)

  • Through St. Michael's ESOP, shares of St. Michael’s company stock are allocated to employees in their ESOP account, making them part owners, or "employee owners" of our company. In this way, employee owners share in the rewards if our stock rises and, in the risks, if the stock falls. As a result, we hope you will be more invested in helping your company succeed!
  • Your ESOP benefit is provided at no cost to you. Your Company Stock is allocated to you without any personal contributions, and you are not taxed on your benefit until you receive a distribution.

PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION REVIEW

Annual cycle of goal setting and regular interaction/coaching between Direct Reports and their Raters.

LONGEVITY AWARD

  • $$$ for each year awarded on the employees’ anniversary date.
  • The longevity award is paid out on the subsequent payroll following the anniversary date. Subject to taxes and payroll witholdings.

EMPLOYEE INCENTIVE PROGRAM

  • Driven by company-wide “Hours Fulfilled” metric.
  • All St. Michael’s employees are eligible, Part-time employees will be prorated based on actual hours worked.

JOHN HANCOCK 401K PLAN

  • Eligibility is 60 days after date of hire, automatic deferral of 4% with option to opt out.
  • Dollar-for-dollar company match up to 4%.
  • Full vesting is immediate.
  • Contributions can be made Pre-Tax or After-Tax (Roth).
  • John Hancock is the Administrator.
  • Edward Jones offers advisory services free to employees.

EMPLOYEE REFERRAL AWARD PROGRAM

  • St. Michael’s Inc. will pay a referral award to employees that recommend external candidates who are hired to fill a position.

MILITARY LEAVE

  • Military leave of absence shall be granted to employees under provisions of the Selective Service Act and applicable state law.
  • St. Michael's Inc. will pay employees who are active members of the Reserve Components of the Armed Forces up to two weeks of paid military leave each calendar year.

BEREAVEMENT LEAVE

Paid leave for the death of an immediate family member.

HOLIDAYS AND PAID TIME OFF (PTO)

11 paid holidays
St. Michael's Inc. full-time and part-time employees will be entitled to Personal Leave Time.

COLLEGE 529 PLAN

With college cost rising, many students need assistance paying for their higher education. To help you save for this important goal, St. Michael’s is offering a CollegeAmerica 529 plan as part of your benefits package.

TRAINING

Every employee gets a training budget allocated to them annually for professional development (must meet standards of training).

Tuition Reimbursement

Up to $5,250 per year, or $1,750 per quarter or semester, subject to prior approval. Reimbursement is made following course completion (excluding books and fees)

Student Loan Repayment - Peanut Butter

Peanut Butter is a company sponsored student loan repayment benefit. After signing up, St. Michael’s Inc. will pay a portion monthly towards your student loans to help you pay them off quicker. Peanut Butter also offers curated advice and insights to help with restructuring loans, access to a refinancing marketplace designed to get the best terms possible as well as free and paid counseling services for additional assistance.

  • Offered to all employees, through ADP.
  • Enrollment is automatic.
