St. Michael’s core values acknowledge our obligation to give back in the communities where we operate and to those less fortunate. One commitment that we have honored since our founding is our involvement supporting local charitable organizations. In the past we have sponsored such charities as the American Cancer Society, StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries, Walk 4 Kids International, and many more.
StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries
StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries’ mission is to build strong community by improving the quality of life for impoverished men, women, and children, including the "chronically homeless." Everyone is welcome, regardless of faith, race, or nationality. They serve our clientele in a compassionate and caring environment that offers dignity, acceptance, and love. They facilitate personal growth, spiritual renewal, independence, and integration into a healthy community.

Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF)
St. Michael’s supports the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF). This program provides full scholarship grants, education and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who have died in operational or training missions. SOWF also provides immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families.

Metropolitan Ministries focuses on helping the homeless and at-risk youth by providing emergency shelter and residential programs in Hillsborough and Pasco Counties. Metropolitan Ministries also collaborated with other organizations to build SabalPlace, 112 new affordable housing units in Seffner, FL, to help more families with similar circumstances.
The nonprofit serves 75,000 meals each month in Tampa Bay and at partner sites around Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk, and Pinellas counties. During Thanksgiving and Christmas, Metropolitan Ministries serves more than 22,000 families in need with holiday meals! They are truly making a difference.

A Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay
A Kid’s Place provides a safe, stable, loving environment for abused, neglected, and abandoned children. Brothers and sisters in foster care are traditionally separated because of the difficulty in finding suitable foster homes with enough room to take multiple children. At A Kid’s Place, these siblings are kept together until a more permanent placement can be found. 90% of the children leave A Kid’s Place intact, as a family.

Green Beret Foundation
The Green Beret Foundation has grown significantly in terms of size and impact over the last number of years. They provide direct financial assistance to over 7,600 Green Berets and supported many of their families as well. While the Green Beret Foundation will continue to focus on the wounded, their families, and the families of the fallen, they are expanding their impact as soldiers transition to civilian life as well.
